Expect The Unexpected

Jack has been sleeping pretty well lately. He's been going to bed around 8PM, will fall asleep almost instantly after he nurses, and then rests soundly until we start stirring in the 7am hour. He hasn't been waking up in the middle of the night, and he's been going down without any protest. It's been wonderful...and of course, short lived. Just when I realized our good luck with this, things seemed to change. Not to say he's been sleeping like a newborn again, but he's let out some cries in the middle of the night the last few days. Then, tonight, after I nursed him and laid him in his crib he woke up right after I shut the door and has been crying every since. Kyle is in his room now rocking him. This could all be from teething, growth spurts, nightmares, or just because. All I know, you need to expect the unexpected, always.
