5 Months Old

At 5 Months Jack is:

• 17 lbs
• strangely long
• aware of everything around him
• saying "momma" when he cries
• lifts his arms up when he thinks we are going to pick him up 
• always wanting to stand and sit up
• still not cutting any teeth yet
• a pro at sleeping in his crib for 10 hours each night
• refusing a bottle, so we have to resort to spoon feeding him breastmil
• likes to pet Liam and Lola
• still nursing about 5-6 times a day {about every 3-4 hours}
• mastering the art of holding and maneuvering his toys
• loves watching the Red Sox with his dad
• wearing mostly 6 month clothes
• wearing size 3 diapers
• only taking daytime naps in his swing..tsk tsk
• enjoying the many visits from family and friends
• getting lighter hair
• eyeing mommy and daddy's food and drinks
• hurting his parent's back
• accumulating treasures in his neck rolls
• rolling on his sides from his back, but still not to belly
• loves being lifted in the air
• in bed no later than 10PM
• wanting to touch/grab/suck/pull/knock over everything around him [This includes, but is not limited to noses, cups of water, hair, cell phones and other electronic devices, pens, books, keyboard, mommy's dinner, hairbrushes, beards, etc.]
• always babbling
• enjoying his activity center
• laughs at the most peculiar things
• getting excited to take his first plane trip up to Michigan to see his GG
• loved more than any and everything in this world
