The trip got off to a rocky start. Just as our 4 hour drive was coming to an end and we were driving over the Marco Island bridge our car began to act up. Seems how we bought our vehicle brand new, exactly a year ago, and this was the third time we were experiencing an issue with it, we weren't very happy. After dealing with the tow truck, the car dealer, the mechanic, and whoever else, we were finally able to get our vacation going. We met my mom up for some dinner at a nice place looking right out onto the Gulf for sunset.
The next day consisted of relaxing poolside with the family. That night everyone came together for a scrumptious taco bar. It was so wonderful to be able to get everyone together for food, laughs, talk, and company. I miss and love my family too much..

Later on, we were able to make it to the beach for sunset, more company, and a moment to relax.
Our last day there we took our time loading up, visited my mom's new house she's fixing up once more, and met up with my dad for lunch.
Overall, it was another great mini-trip down to visit the family and have everyone snuggle up on Jack. It's awful having my family live far away from us, but at least they live in a beautiful place to vacation to in under 4 hours!
